Ms. Dalva Mendoça has always been famous for he homemade Brazilian Cheese Roll recipe. And that success motivated the foundation of Forno de Minas in 1990. Combining flavor, quality and technology, he company that Ms. Dalva started with her daughters and sons soon expanded and started commercializing its products in Brazil and some countries from Europe, North America and Asia.
The company was sold, in 1999, to North-American Pillsbury, which invested in the purchase of cutting edge machinery for he quality control and optimization of productive process.
In 2009 the company returned to the Mendonça family’s hands, who also resumed the Brazilian Cheese Roll production using the original recipe in the modern industrial park set up in Contagem, in Belo Horizonte’s metropolitan area.
