November 30 2009 - The Brazilian coffee industry closed more than 50 export contracts during the Private Label Trade Show 2009 (PLMA's) - the only trade show devoted entirely to store brands - held in Chicago.
Companies like Café Bom Dia, Cacique and Iguaçu participated through the Integrated Industry Program for Roasted and Group Coffee Exports (PSI) conducted by APEX-Brazil in partnership with the Brazilian Coffee Industry Association (ABIC).
"Brazil needs to expand its presence in the international coffee market and the export of private brands is an excellent opportunity to strengthen this strategy," says Tatiana Novaes Rodrigues, director of Concept Brazil.
For almost 30 years, PLMAs annual private label trade show has been the place where retailers and suppliers meet to build their private label business. It is the event of the year for the private label industry.
