November 02 2009 - Unilever has leased an area of 30,400 sq.m. in the Romanian Ploiesti West Park for a (warehouse and offices).
Currently Ploiesti West Park, positioned as the largest and modern industrial park in Eastern Europe and consisted of two major areas: business parks designed especially for logistic activities and light production, and a retail area with restaurants, hotels, offices that combines shopping and relax opportunities.
A new logistics park will help Unliever to address its distribution activities to Bucharest and Ploiesti – the largest cities in Romania. The park is located on the route Bucharest-Budapest future highways (A3). According to estimates the new project will create approximately 16,000 jobs.
The total value of buildings and infrastructure of the park amounted to over 750 million euros.
Currently Unilever remains one of the biggest Romanian investors in the segment of first marketed consumer goods and the first company who rent a 30,400 m⊃; surface in PLOIESTI WEST PARK - developed by Allianso Business Park SRL.
