Peruvian Wong Family Sells 2.2% Of Chilean Retailer Cencosud
SANTIAGO -(Dow Jones)- The Peruvian Wong family sold 49.8 million shares of Chilean retail holding company Cencosud (CENCOSUD.SN), equivalent to 2.2% of the retailer, on the Santiago Stock Exchange Tuesday, the latter informed in a statement.
The sale garnered the Wongs $102.2 billion Chilean pesos ($199.5 million) at a sale price CLP2,055.00 per share.
