Villars Maître Chocolatier is making waves with the launch of its "Dark 70% cocoa" bars, low in sugar. Villars is indeed the first chocolate maker to use a totally natural sweetener, made from stevia leaves.

For over a year and a half, master chocolate maker Villars worked on this recipe to get the proportions just right. As Villars' manufacturing philosophy is not to use any artificial colourings or flavourings, the chocolate maker was immediately attracted by the first studies carried out in Switzerland on rebaudioside-A made from the plant stevia. 

This brand new block of dark chocolate is also the perfect opportunity for chocolate lovers to discover the subtle and complex aromas of the great cocoa of Ghana and the Equator while reducing their sugar intake.
