This past August in Japan, Kanro helped to further diversify the confection market's broad range of flavors with its launch of a taste changing candy product. Named Changing? Candy, these boiled sweets claim to undergo a flavor change in the mouth upon their consumption. Changing? Candy comes in three flavorings of Apple, Grape and Soda that each transform to a new taste, which can be identified on the back of the product's pack.
The company has repackaged its Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate bar to reflect its new Fairtrade certification. The company claims to be the first mass market chocolate producer to gain certification from the Fairtrade Foundation. The Dairy Milk product utilizes chocolate ethically traded in Ghana. This vegetarian chocolate bar retails in a 49g pack.
