The Edrington Group, makers of The Famous Grouse and The Macallan, today announced plans to establish the company's first wholly-owned sales and distribution teams in two key export markets in Asia. - The Glasgow-based group will now have direct responsibility for all its sales activity in South Korea and Taiwan, presently the fifth and ninth biggest countries for Scotch whisky by value and both of which have been identified for their long-term growth potential for the company's premium brands.
